The Big Springs Environmental Study Area, 40 acres in extent, is used as an educational resource by local schools. It serves as an outdoor study area and recreation site for local schools, the community, and visitors to the White Mountains. The website devoted to the area provides a rich inventory of the animal and plant species that inhabit the park as a whole. You can visit the website by clicking here.
